GPUs suited for CAD
This list includes GPUs suited for CAD work in tools such as AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Revit, FreeCAD, and SketchUp. The baseline assumes personal to small-scale design work.
GeForce GTX 1650 is used as the minimum baseline model for CAD work.
This evaluation assumes the system has a CPU, memory, and storage configuration that is sufficient for the task.
What to Check Beyond the Score
- Heavyweight workloads such as large SolidWorks assemblies or rendering are outside the scope of this baseline.
- If your work requires ISV certification, choose a workstation GPU such as the Quadro/RTX series or Radeon Pro.
